Colorado Broker Course Outline

This 72 credit course will prepare and qualify you to take the Colorado side of the licensing exam.  AS AN ADDED BONUS - Students required by the Real Estate Commission to take this course must also take and pass the full licensing exam.   Although this class well prepares the student to pass the Colorado side of the test, it does little to prepare the student to pass the National side of the test.   AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE - we have included full access to our Exam Preparation Center containing practice exams and courses covering both the National and Colorado portions of the licensing exam. 

Who Must Take This Course And Pass The Full Licensing Exam:

To recieve an Associate Brokers License: Previous Colorado broker who was issued a license prior to Jan 1, 1997 and whose license expired more than 3 years ago OR Expired broker, license issued in another jurisdication OR Current broker in good standing licensed in another jurisdication for less than 2 years.
To recieve an Independent Brokers Status:  The requirements are the same as above with the exception that you must have held an active license at the broker license level for a minimum of two years.  
To receive an Employing Brokers Status:   The requirements are the same as for an Independant Broker status with the additional educational requirement of taking the 24 credit hour Broker Administration course (also offered by Colorado Real Estate School - you can see the course description by clicking HERE) .

Course Outline:

Colorado Real Estate Contracts & Regulations (48 Hours) 

COURSE OBJECTIVE: Prepare and understand Colorado Real Estate Commission approved contracts and understand Colorado real estate regulations.

Closings (24 hours)

COURSE OBJECTIVE: The state exam requires you to act the role of a closer and prepare the numbers for a closing. Our proven and unique learning method will make this a snap.  You will understand the closing process like a champ, including responsibilities through and after the closing, accounting for all funds received and disbursed as well as a comprehensive review of the legal documents prepared by the broker.
